Brussels Hisses at Peace Because It Was Not Invited to the Orgy

Washington and Moscow are closing a deal that could cover all of Europe. Brussels answers by shoveling €4.36 billion into Kyiv’s coffers and squealing that it already has a security architecture. The unelected architects of this farce have never asked what Europeans want.

Brussels Hisses at Peace Because It Was Not Invited to the Orgy

There is a sound in the air, and it is the sound of Brussels becoming irrelevant.

Washington is working on a new European security architecture that includes Russia: permanent security consultations, crisis hotlines, more military transparency, mutual steps to reduce escalation.

Donald Trump says the deal that could cover “all of Europe.”

The European NATO allies are not amused.

Good. Let them be not amused. Let them gnash their teeth while the adults in Washington and Moscow discuss the future of the continent without the meddling interference of a Brussels bureaucracy that has never secured a single border.

I like the idea that two great powers are talking about peace while the EU sulks in the corner like a scolded nursery governess.

The Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev posted a Financial Times article about Europe’s worries with three words: “Don’t Worry Be Happy.”

A missile of contempt launched from Moscow straight into the bloated belly of the Brussels beast.

Three words. That is all it took to reduce the Eurocrats to apoplexy.

They do not know how to handle joy.

They do not know how to handle peace that was not cooked in their own kitchen by their own unelected chefs.

And then there is Kaja Kallas, answering like a petulant child caught stealing jam from the pantry.

“We already have a European security architecture.”

A lie so bald it would make a circus sideshow blush. The European Union has no security architecture; it has a migration machine, a stack of treaties, and a payroll for bureaucrats who have never defended a single inch of European soil.

“Putin has no veto over European security.”

As if the EU has ever possessed security without American blood and American bases planted across its territory. Kallas struts about in her tailor-made suit, unaccountable, and utterly worthless, pretending she speaks for Europe when she speaks only for the EU’s endless hunger for power.

“If we are not part of it, we will not implement it.”

A spoiled child taking her ball home because the boys want to play a different game. Her competence is a fiction. She is a bureaucrat masquerading as a stateswoman, and her quotes are the squeals of a piglet kicked from the trough.

I have held a grudge against the village council for months for daring to object to my column on the invasion of our streets by strangers, and here I see the same spirit of petty tyranny in Kallas, only she has a continent to ruin.

The money is the only honest thing in this entire circus.

Brussels has released another €4.36 billion for Ukraine this week. Half of the €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan flows into Kyiv’s 2026 budget, cutting the deficit from 18.5 to 12.1 per cent of GDP.

So they are pissing money into a foreign treasury while their own peasants starve.

When did Brussels become a charity for Kiev?

When did they decide our blood was less valuable than their geopolitical vanity?

Article 42(7) of the EU Treaty is trotted out like a fig leaf to cover the naked greed of Brussels. Member states must assist a fellow member under armed attack. Ukraine is not a member.

This is not assistance; it is tribute paid to a corrupt regime in Kiev that treats Brussels like a bottomless piggy bank.

Zelensky’s government is a den of corruption, and every billion vanishing into its black hole is theft disguised as solidarity. Brussels keeps the budget of a foreign state afloat because Brussels loves war. Brussels loves money. Brussels hates peace. And because Brussels is too cowardly to admit that the Kievian regime is a corrupt farce that has cooked its books with European cash.

Look at Berlin.

Boris Pistorius, the German defence minister, said on Saturday that Germany cannot give Ukraine any more Patriot systems from Bundeswehr stocks. Whatever is handed over now would not be replaced for the time being, leaving gaps in Germany's own defence.

Who actually cares about Brussels? Not Washington. Not Moscow. And, it seems, not even Berlin.

Nobody asked what Europeans want.

The people of Europe do not care about Brussels. They care about their homes, their families, and their borders. Brussels cares about its own pensions, its own expansion, and its own unaccountable power.

Peace is coming whether Brussels likes it or not.

Washington and Moscow are talking. The Eurocrats are squealing.

And the gravy train is about to derail.
